Connection Meter is a program that gets statistics about your Internet connection.
This suite of applications will work on any type of Internet connection, be it through modem, cable, GPRS or WiFi. It measures not only your connection speed, but also your connection time and status. It includes other utilities, such as an SMS gateway (valid only for Czech networks).
Other features include a password management system, a calendar with task reminder, a mail notifier, a unit and currency converter, an anti-dialer, and a system and battery monitor. Besides, you can also obtain your card’s MAC addresses and set your system offline.
In the unregistered version some features are blocked or limited, such as the Surveys, Protocol, Network Statistics, E-Mail Check, Route Check, ActiveX Check, and the change of interface. The rest of the features work normally.
In brief, I think that Connection Manager contains a lot of tools which are highly useful for anyone dealing with an Internet connection.
